-KONET LLC was established in May 2008 and has signed a 20-year concession contract with Kosovo Railways to utilize the railway property (right-of-the-way) and construct a fiber optic network infrastructure in Kosova.

KONET partners are: MCMnet a licensed local ISP fully owned by MCM group in Prishtine and Nortel Networks UK Ltd.

It is the intent of KONET to provide an become an independent bandwidth and access network provider that will open the local and regional market and offer modern services at very competitive prices.
